URSA announced changes in the management board. In the course of the recently closed sale of URSA to its new owner Xella, CEO Pepyn Dinandt has declared that he will no longer be available as managing director of URSA. Furthermore, COO Dr. Frank Herrmann will leave the company. From now on, URSA will be led by Jochen Friedrichs as CEO and an experienced management team composed of both URSA and Xella executives.
“We are very grateful for the great work Pepyn Dinandt and Dr. Frank Herrmann have done. They successfully led URSA to a strong profitable growth path and enabled the company to deliver an outstanding performance in recent years. We are convinced that under its new leadership, URSA will continue on its successful growth path and become a growth driver for the entire Xella Group”, says Dr. Jochen Fabritius, CEO of Xella Group.
URSA will be led by three managing directors: The experienced Xella manager Jochen Friedrichs will become CEO and will also take over the role of COO. URSA’s CFO Joaquín Lozano Agramunt has been promoted to managing director and will serve as CFO on the new managing board. The role of CTO will be taken over by Björn Baum, who was formerly the CTO of Xella’s business unit Fels, and will additionally remain Head of Xella Group’s Energy Management.
