A strategic enclave and privileged surroundings. Located in the city of Zbąszyń (Poland), the Navigator Hotel enjoys both. Strategic because its proximity to the highway provides swift connections from Poznan (1 hour), Berlin (2 hours) or Warsaw (3 hours). Privileged, also, because this family-run hotel looks over Lake Bledno and the neighboring oak wood and fields.

Designed as a place for leisure and peace, the hotel has 50 rooms and a SPA area, complete with a swimming pool and sauna. A quiet environment is essential to preserve the peaceful atmosphere and ensure the guests’ rest. With these principles in mind, the project team responsible for the refurbishment of this three-star hotel chose high-quality insulation for all air-conditioning ducts, replacing the traditional metal ducts with the ducts from the URSA AIR range.

In fact, 1000 square metres of URSA Air Zero A2 were installed, meeting all of the client’s acoustic requirements. Wicoma, the contractor, received assistance and technical support during the whole installation process.

URSA Air panels enjoy a wide range of advantages, which the hotel renovation project team took into account: high thermal resistance, excellent acoustic absorption, guaranteed better interior air quality and outstanding resistance to fire.

Using panels for air-conditioning duct construction is also an advantage, as there is less weight and volume to be transported to the site. The flexibility of ducts constructed on site means that any unexpected problem can quickly be solved.
